It’s no secret that the Steelers need another wide receiver. George Pickens has been consistently good this season, but outside of the young star, Pittsburgh has no boundary threats. Van Jefferson is 113th in the NFL in yards per route run and has made zero impact on the Steelers’ success thus far. However, Pittsburgh may be back in the mix for trading for a receiver.
The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly shopping future Hall of Famer Davante Adams, and the Steelers are a team that many are circling as a potential landing spot. One player who is already doing his best to make it happen is running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who commented on X saying that Adams wants to be a Steeler.
Adams has 18 catches and one touchdown in three games thus far. He’s had 100+ receptions in each of the last four seasons. A duo of Pickens and Adams would instantly become one of the best receiving duos in football.
