Sunday night’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys has officially been delayed due to weather, it was announced ahead of kickoff. The game, set to kick off from Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA, does not yet have a projected start time. Kickoff was originally scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET.

Meteorologist Ray Petelin shared a photograph of the local weather radar that indicated a high concentration of lightning in the area.

Fans can typically expect a 30-minute delay at minimum in these circumstances, but the lack of an announcement on a projected start time could mean that the league is expecting the weather to persevere.
