Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt has officially registered his 100th career sack in his 109th regular-season game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5, making him the second-fastest player to reach 100 career sacks all-time.

Watt’s 100th sack was a nine-yard strip sack/fumble against Dak Prescott, recovered by Nick Herbig to save the Steelers from a score at their own 11-yard line.

Unfortunately, the Steelers were unable to capitalize on the turnover, going three and out without gaining a single yard on the drive after two penalities and a sack against Justin Fields killed it.

The fastest player in NFL history to reach the mark was Pro Football Hall of Famer Reggie White, who accomplished the feat in just 96 games. That means Watt has also edged out other Hall of Famers DeMarcus Ware (113 games), Bruce Smith (115) and, of course, his brother J.J., who managed his 100th sack in his 120th game played.

Watt also became the third player all-time to hit 100 career sacks before his 30th birthday, joining White and 4x All-Pro DE Jared Allen.
