We’re just under 90 minutes out from kickoff of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 13 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and both teams have officially announced their gameday inactives.

Here’s a look at the Steelers inactives for Week 13’s showdown against the Bengals.

Steelers inactives Week 13

QB Kyle Allen (emergency 3rd QB)
OLB Alex Highsmith (ankle)
WR Scott Miller
OG Max Scharping
RB Jonathan Ward

After being listed as “doubtful” to play with an ankle injury, Steelers OLB Alex Highsmith has officially been ruled out, missing his third consecutive game with the injury. This week marked his first official return to practice, logging back-to-back limited sessions on Thursday and Friday — a promising sign for a potential return in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.

None of the other inactives were surprises for Week 13. As Warren continues to get healthier and with Cordarrelle Patterson in the active lineup over the past few weeks, RB Jonathan Ward has been a scratch. WR Scott Miller has also been scratched for his second consecutive week and third of fourth game inactive since the team traded for Mike Williams.

Not present on the Steelers’ inactives list but out nonetheless are DT Montravius Adams (knee) and CB Cory Price (hamstring) who both remain on injured reserve in their 21-day practice window and were not activated to the 53-man roster ahead of Week 13.

Bengals inactives Week 13

WR Charlie Jones (groin)
WR Trenton Irwin
DT Sheldon Rankins (illness)
LB Logan Wilson (knee)
TE Tanner McLachlin

The Cincinnati Bengals got a couple of tough updates ahead of Week 13, without two starters on defense this week including DT Sheldon Rankins (illness) and LB Logan Wilson (knee). Rankins has been out since Week 11 with the illness, having apparently not made enough progress even through the team’s Week 12 bye to go in this spot against the Steelers. Wilson, meanwhile, missed practice all of this week with the injury — a surprise addition to the injury report coming off the team’s Week 12 bye.

Bengals’ starting left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is active for this game, who has been out since Week 9 and failed to log an entire game since Week 7, managing knee/fibula injuries.
