The Steelers are adding some wide receiver depth, with the team bringing back Scotty Miller on a one-year contract, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter earlier today.

The financial details of the deal have yet to be announced.

Miller, 27 years old, had five catches for 69 yards last year for the Steelers, appearing in 13 games. The 5’9, 174-pound target is undersized, but he’s known for his speed, running a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at his pro day.

Miller was drafted in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl ring in the 2020-21 season to go along with career-best production (33 catches, 501 yards, three touchdowns).

Miller spent the 2023 season with the Atlanta Falcons under then-head coach Arthur Smith, who is now the Steelers’ offensive coordinator. He’ll be part of a Steelers depth chart in 2025 that will include DK Metcalf, George Pickens, Roman Wilson, and Calvin Austin III.
