The Pittsburgh Steelers begin OTAs on Tuesday, marking the first time of the 2025 season the Steelers will be on the field for practice. The Steelers began the day, though, by signing a wide receiver.

Pittsburgh has added rookie wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig. Lemonious-Craig went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent 2024 with the Arizona Wildcats, catching 17 passes for 172 yards and one touchdown. He spent 2020-22 with the Colorado Buffaloes. He caught 34 passes in three seasons before transferring to Arizona ahead of the 2023 season. He caught 45 passes and four touchdowns in two seasons with Arizona.

Lemonious-Craig joins a depth chart full of young, unproven talent trying to prove themselves. The likes of Roc Taylor, Brandon Johnson, Ke’Shawn Williams, and Lance McCutcheon will all be vying for spots on the final 53-man roster and potential practice squad spots. Players like Roman Wilson will also have a lot to prove this spring and summer, as he tries to show he was worth his selection in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
