The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a season that is all too familiar for fans – Win nine-to-10 games, back into the playoffs, get beaten by multiple scores in humiliating fashion, and repeat the process. And after eight years of no playoff wins, fans have become restless and crave a winner in Pittsburgh once again.

Mike Tomlin, Art Rooney, and the rest of the Steelers’ brass have promised changes over the last two offseasons. However, the changes from a season ago yielded the same result. Now, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports is saying more changes are coming this offseason.

“Still here in Indy at the Scouting Combine having conversations,” Anderson posted on X. Sounds like [the] Steelers are going to have some interesting changes. Will keep you posted.”

What those changes could be are unknown. The Steelers still need to get a starting quarterback under contract, which certainly could be what Anderson is referring to. That said, Pittsburgh is largely expected to bring back one of the two quarterbacks they had in 2024 – Justin Fields or Russell Wilson, which wouldn’t qualify as “interesting changes.” We’ll see what those changes do end up being in due time, and whether or not it pertains to the quarterback position.
