Welcome to Week 14 of Steelers Reacts. Following a win over the rival Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the Pittsburgh hype train is back to full speed after slowing down after Week 12’s loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Steelers fans once again have the postseason in mind as the AFC North’s top team and the AFC’s No. 3 seed. As a result, we have two questions in this week’s fan poll: one short term, and one long term.

Are the Steelers true Super Bowl contenders this season? Despite the Bills looking unstoppable at the moment, the Chiefs look beatable as ever and Pittsburgh has already beaten three teams in the AFC playoff picture earlier in 2024. The Steelers showed offensive growth on Sunday and look to keep up with the NFL’s best teams in the final portion of the season.

As for the long term, are you confident in the direction of the team? The Steelers are led by an aging group of stars on defense, and quarterback Russell Wilson is 36. Still, there are plenty of younger players with their best years still ahead of them: George Pickens, Nick Herbig, and most of the offensive line, to name a few. Is this Pittsburgh team built to last?

Vote now & check back later in the week as we break down the thoughts of your fellow Steelers fans!
