Yet another Steelers player has been named to the Pro Bowl at the last minute. The team announced Wednesday that linebacker Patrick Queen has been named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.

The announcement marks Queen’s second career Pro Bowl, as the linebacker was voted into the event in 2024, as well.

This year, Queen replaces his former Ravens teammate Roquan Smith, who dropped out of the event.

Queen’s three-year, $41 million deal with the Steelers during the 2024 offseason made him the highest-paid free agent in franchise history. The first few games of his Pittsburgh career were criticized, but Queen improved as the year went on, ending the 2024-25 season with 129 total tackles and six tackles for loss. He added one sack, seven passes defensed, and two forced fumbles.

Queen joins a growing Steelers contingent at the Pro Bowl, which includes safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive lineman Cam Heyward, kicker Chris Boswell, special teamer Miles Killebrew, offensive guard Isaac Seumalo, and quarterback Russell Wilson. Outside linebacker T.J. Watt was voted onto the Pro Bowl roster but withdrew due to injury. Killebrew, Seumalo, Wilson, and Queen all made the event as alternates.

The Pro Bowl Games will be held in Orlando, Fla. this year, starting on Thursday, Jan. 30 with the “Skills Showdown,” and ending on Sunday, Feb. 2 with a flag football that starts at 3 p.m. ET.

Both events will be televised on ESPN, with the flag football game also being available on ABC.
