UPDATE: The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out RB Cordarrelle Patterson with an ankle injury in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Boy, it has been a tough day for the ankles of the Pittsburgh Steelers, as Steelers RB/KR/do-it-all man Cordarrelle Patterson was named questionable to return with an ankle injury, Burt Lauten of Steelers PR reports.

Patterson’s injury came nearing the end of the team’s best offensive drive yet against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4, having marched 91 yards down the field before turning the ball over with a fumble from WR George Pickens.
Patterson went to the locker room on a cart after walking off of the field on his own power after the play. He currently leads the team with 43 rushing yards on six attempts in the first half, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. Najee Harris, the team’s starter, has just 5 rushing yards on six carries through the first half.
It’s a tough time to lose more running back depth for the Steelers, having already been down Jaylen Warren in this game, who is currently dealing with an ankle injury. Pittsburgh elevated RB Aaron Shampklin from their practice squad on Saturday accounting for his absence.
