We’re just under 90 minutes out from kickoff of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 5 primetime matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, and both teams have officially announced their gameday inactives.

Here’s a look at the Steelers inactives for Week 5’s showdown against the Cowboys.

Steelers inactives Week 5

The biggest news of the week is the absence of starting LG Isaac Seumalo on the inactives list after a four-game absence in recovery from a shoulder injury suffered prior to Week 1. The Steelers’ offensive line has been decimated by injuries this season, having lost veteran RG James Daniels to a season-ending Achilles injury, with additional injuries to Troy Fautanu (knee) and intended starting center Nate Herbig (rotator cuff).

Also notable is the fact that Russell Wilson will serve as the emergency third quarterback yet again, still recovering from a calf injury suffered ahead of Week 1.

RBs Jaylen Warren and Cordarrelle Patterson were each ruled out on Friday ahead of this matchup. In their absence, Najee Harris will continue to get plenty of work, backed up by RB Aaron Shampklin and, at RB3, Jonathan Ward, who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.

Cowboys inactives Week 5

DE Micah Parsons (ankle)
WR Brandin Cooks (knee)
QB Trey Lance — Emergency 3rd QB
CB Caelen Carson (shoulder)
RB Deuce Vaughn
DE K.J. Henry
OT Matt Waletzko
TE John Stephens Jr.

The Steelers caught a huge break with the absence of DE Micah Parsons this week, with the team also down DeMarcus Lawrence, who was placed on IR earlier this week with a foot injury suffered in Week 4. They’ll also be without fifth-round rookie cornerback Caelen Carson (shoulder), who started each of the first three weeks, having logged 14 solo tackles (1 assist), with Andrew Booth getting the start in his place in Week 4. In that spot start, Booth allowed a catch on each of his four targets in coverage for 85 yards and a passer rating of 118.8 against New York Giants QB Daniel Jones last week.
