The Pittsburgh Steelers will begin their season in New York against Justin Fields and the Jets. The NFL will all but certainly get their double dip of “revenge game” storylines out of this one, with Aaron Rodgers heavily assumed to be heading to Pittsburgh.

With the schedule release having taken place last week, so too have the Week 1 odds for the Week 1 matchup. FanDuel has the Steelers as three-point favorites.

The Steelers haven’t fared well against the Jets on the road over the last three decades. They’ve only won one game while travelling to play New York. That win came back in 2013 when the Steelers won 19-6. Their last trip to New York resulted in a 16-10 loss in 2019. Pittsburgh hasn’t scored more than 20 points in a road game against the Jets since way back in 1990. Pittsburgh is 6-3-1 in its last 10 Week 1 games.
