Video Summary
The 2022 NBA season is well underway, and with it, a plethora of storylines have emerged. One team that has certainly made headlines is the Golden State Warriors, who have been on an impressive tear lately. Led by the resurgence of Stephen Curry, the Warriors have won 10 of their last 12 games, and are now just 2.5 games behind the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference.
But the Warriors' success is not just due to Curry's efforts. The team has received impressive contributions from a host of young players, including Jordan Poole, who has emerged as a potential All-Star candidate. Poole has been averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 assists per game over the last five contests, and has shown a remarkable ability to take over games on his own.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers, who were expected to be one of the top teams in the West, have struggled to find consistency. Despite the presence of superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers have been hampered by injuries and have now fallen to 3rd in the Western Conference standings.
The Brooklyn Nets, on the other hand, continue to dominate. Led by Kevin Durant, who has been playing some of the best basketball of his career, the Nets have won 12 of their last 14 games. With the addition of James Harden, the Nets now have multiple All-Stars, and are looking like the clear favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference.
However, despite these dominant performances from teams in the West, don't count out the Boston Celtics just yet. The Celtics have been quietly putting together a solid run, and have now won 8 of their last 10 games. With the likes of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the way, the Celtics could be a dark horse contender come playoff time.
